Big Four Arts Festival

The BIG FOUR™ arts event kicks off festival season every year on the weekend following Labor Day at Big Four® Bridge, Waterfront Park in Louisville, Kentucky

The Big Four Arts Festival has been the most attended (20,000) two-day Event ever held in Louisville at Waterfront Park on the Big Four Bridge Lawn. The weekend following Labor Day, the 8th annual festival, September 7th & 8th 2024, will be held on the lawn which consists of four acres of tree-lined walks overlooking the Ohio River, located at the Big 4 Walking Bridge. The Big 4 Walking Bridge has 25,000 people strolling it each weekend. The Festival is a two-minute drive from downtown Louisville and draws patrons from Southern Indiana as well as Louisville.

Big Four Arts Festival is a ticketed event ($5). Tickets will only be sold at the entrance of the festival and on this website. NO third parties or resellers will be selling tickets. Ticket sales are in support of Bridgehaven Mental Health Services. Bridgehaven Mental Health Services wants to THANK YOU for attending and participating in this EVENT.

Arts on The Green

“On the second weekend in June each year, Crestwood, Kentucky welcomes thousands of visitors to this two-day FREE festival held at The Maples Park. Now in its 23rd year, Arts on the Green has become a premier outdoor juried arts and crafts festival designed for the entire family to enjoy.

In addition to the many local, national and regional artists who attend to showcase a wide variety of artwork, this festival features continuous live entertainment, children’s activities, beverage vendors, and Emerging Artists (students) all within the 22-acre Maples Park in Crestwood, Kentucky.

For the first time in its existence, Arts on the Green partnered with the Louisville Food Truck Association to have 15 food trucks on site daily in 2023, plus FREE shuttle service to and from Maples Park and South Oldham Middle School, South Oldham High School, and Camden Station Elementary School. Oldham Public Bus also provides 2 shuttles, with handicap parking onsite.

Arts on the Green is a fundraiser for the nonprofit Arts Association of Oldham County (AAOOC), whose mission is “bringing the Arts to Oldham County.” “

Cherokee Triangle Art Fair

2024 marks the 52nd anniversary of this rite of spring in one of Louisville’s most beautiful and historic neighborhoods.

The Cherokee Triangle Art Fair is a juried fair with more than 200 artists’ booths. The two-day event is free and open to the public. The Art Fair is held in Louisville’s historic Cherokee Triangle neighborhood on tree-lined Cherokee Parkway between Willow Avenue and Cherokee Road. The neighbors are friendly and welcoming as they celebrate spring with old and new friends alike. The Art Fair began in 1972 and has been one of the area’s favorite events ever since.

In addition to a high-quality and diverse selection of art, patrons of the fair can enjoy food, drink, and entertainment. The popular Children’s Parade kicks off the event each year at 10:00 a.m., and all kids are welcome to participate in this joyful, themed march. Other attractions include the Cherokee Triangle Association booth with offerings of Cherokee Triangle branded merchandise and apparel, and a Children’s Art Tent for hands-on activities throughout the weekend.
